Supporting American Nurses in Memory of Nurse Jeanette Fenoli


We are sad to announce the passing of Jeanette Fenoli of Boynton Beach, Florida. She passed peacefully on March 11th, 2023 of natural causes at the age of 99. Jeanette was born into a family of 8 siblings in Ohio. Though raised in Idaho, during her life she lived in California, Japan, the Philippines, Illinois, Louisiana, and Florida. Jeanette became a Registered Nurse and worked in an Army hospital during WWII. She had an extensive career of almost 30 years as an RN, working many years in home health. She definitely had the gift of gab and could literally talk to anyone! She was always dressed to the nines, loved shopping and attending church. She had a vigorous appetite for life and good food. She especially enjoyed Chinese cuisine or a thick juicy steak. Many remember her joy riding with the Southern Cruisers--a motorcycle club in Louisiana. Jeanette loved to mentor others, especially nurses, and took great pride in the success of her children. She is survived by four sisters: Rosemary Easter, Rita Thaemert, Annabelle Schenck, and Dorothy Meyers. Jeanette is predeceased by three of her beloved children: Linda Fenoli, James Fenoli, and Thomas Fenoli, and is survived by four children: John (Carol) Fenoli, Gary Fenoli, Col. Richard (Cheryl) Fenoli, and Randy Fenoli, as well as 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 8th. at 10:00am. at St. Mary's Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. All donations to this memorial fundraiser will go towards funding education of aspiring nurses.
